Congratulations Tender winners - Tambo Waste... 20/05/07
East Gippsland Shire Council in South Eastern Victoria has awarded 'Tambo Waste' the garbage collection tender 3rd time round. Tambo Waste Directors Murray & Greg Webb, have successfully held the waste contract since pre-amalgamation of East Gippsland Councils. Tambo Waste have extensive knowledge of waste management & technology researched in the USA and Europe, having brought one of the first waste transfer stations to the shire which has been in operation now for several years. Murray & Greg said they are looking forward to settling into the contract for yet another term.

Tambo Waste have selected OSGS' 120 litre MGBs [15,000 units] due to their unrivaled strength and durability in the field. OSGS 120 MGBs carry a 10 year guarantee, and are designed with single arm 'grab' type collection vehicles in mind with reinforced 'double handle' plus 'long lock' hinge pins that don't pop out when the bin is emptied. The contract will commence with the assembly & distribution of the new bins in July 07.
